I can still remember the map layouts and how to swivel around on the toilet to get back up into the air vents. It made my brother and I bond more (bad pun intended), the endless days of multiplayer with friends, hunting down every of the timed cheats and buying an Action Replay to delve deeper into its code.
That they tried (and failed) to make an expanded game series and even remake it, switching in Mr Laconic Grumpypants 'Bond' for reasons to bewildering to count, shows how much its still beloved today. Except by the people who chose to play with/exploit Oddjob. And to paraphrase Austin Powers "Who does that?!" Happy (20th) Anniversary Goldeneye 007!
